Is there accommodation offered?
Yes, there is a wide range of accommodation options on-site within the hotel and resort complex, professionally managed by Ramada Marcoola. In addition, there are also over 1000 beds available across an extensive range of quality accommodation houses along Marcoola Beach. All of these properties are within close and safe walking distance to Surfair.
Do you provide parking?
Yes, we have guest parking on site as well as ample parking on the adjacent service road.
Is there transport available to your venue?
Yes, our hotel is centrally located on the David Low Way and is easily accessible by public transport including the Sunshine Coast Bus network with stops directly in front of the Hotel. The property has facilities for private bus access and is located just 5 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport.
Can we supply our own alcohol and catering?
Surfair is a fully licensed venue therefore self-catering is not permitted. We offer a range of catering packages for all types of events and occasions and our menus have been developed to give plenty of choice to our guests and to suit every budget.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes, our executive kitchen team will cater for all dietary requirements and our menus offer a wider range of selections with this in mind.
Do you cater for guests with disabilities?
Surfair does cater for guests with disabilities with equitable access available to all areas of the property, which is all located on ground level. There are also lifts to and from the accommodation and underground car parking. Special arrangements can be made for wheelchair access to the beach or viewing deck for wedding ceremonies with prior notice.
Are there wet weather back up options?
In case of rain, there are multiple options available for your event or wedding ceremony which offers you an attractive alternative to your outdoor location. Our event co-ordinators will liaise with you prior to your event if an alternate location is required.
Can you recommend professional event suppliers that can assist me with my event?
We work with many high end suppliers who we love to recommend. We will only recommend those suppliers that we know provide a level of service similar to our own. Our event co-ordinators will be happy to discuss these with you when you book your event.
Is music allowed at Surfair?
Yes, live music or DJ services are allowed throughout the venue. Some conditions will apply due to our licensing agreement, which our event co-ordinators will discuss with you when you book your event.
Are fireworks allowed at Surfair?
Yes, fireworks are allowed on the property with appropriate permits and safety procedures in place.
Can you provide styling packages?
Yes, there are a range of styling packages available that we can provide to suit your particular theme and budget. Our event co-ordinators and function team can work with you to ensure that your requirements are met.
What time can our event finish?
Function rooms for private events are available up until midnight. Your guests are then welcomed to move across to the Sports Bar to continue celebrating. The venue is licensed until 2am Monday to Saturday and midnight on Sunday.
Are children welcome at Surfair?
Children are welcome at all events with adult supervision. We request that those looking after children refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages and suggest that children remain at functions with a curfew of 9pm. We offer special children’s menus and have high chairs available for use. There is a parent room available with changing facilities.
